A grey cat

I spoke to you and you answered
My name was thin in the autumn wind
The leaves had turned
Orange and red flames against the led sky
I whispered in between the lines
Stroked my palm on your leg
At the movies
Your presence reassuring me
In Its stillness
I sat at the windowsill
Observing the cars floating by
